Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstones

Keeton Coffman starts off simple, with an addictive drumbeat, guitars, and Coffman’s vocals saturated with emotion. The song quickly gathers momentum with beautiful harmonies shadowing the main melody, more and more instruments joining the mix. The production is silky smooth and polished to perfection; close your eyes and you can actually imagine yourself in the room with these different instruments in different places all around you. Everything is flawless – every note is perfect, every line delivered with emotional weight, and the tone of the track is somehow bittersweet and upbeat all at once. “I waited I waited I’m waiting for him to/Give you anything but a broken heart/Give you anything but a broken heart” Coffman repeats, hitting each beat on the head with every repetition. Keeton’s single is warm, familiar and comforting in that old fashioned rock and roll way.
