Hook & Reel: LSDREAM & Com3t’s adrenaline-rush collaboration, ‘Hello Human’
The dance mechanic returns with another altogether consuming track with Com3t.

After decimating dance floors with the brawny, emotive “Shadow Self” back in December, LSDREAM is back with a collaborative dance track that’s a thunderous, mind-melting electronic dance odyssey. Partnering with fellow producer and DJ mastermind Com3t (a.k.a. Dani Thorne), the two fashion steely, churning synths over dystopian production as an eerie robotic voice forebodingly sneers “hello human.”
The vocal adds an even sharper edge to the already razor-edged instrumentation, but then shifts the song into a bit of a lighter tone as the robot expresses their distaste into their surroundings. The final third of the track is lusher and much more lavish, the voice becoming a symphony of metallic harmonies above twinkling synths, beckoning the listener to ascend into the heavens and beyond. “Hello Human” provides the perfect counter to “Shadow Self,” where the previous track felt like a ray of humanity piercing through the machine-like keys, this track immerses itself in the mechanical nature of the instrumentation. It speaks to the versatility of LSDREAM’s musicianship, and the musical chemistry between himself and Com3t.
