Desires are what make us tick, even lusty ones. But sometimes, complications arise that hinder us from completely unlocking those feelings. A smooth mixture of pop and R&B, the drippy, sticky kind, Brooklyn smooth-talker Aaron Taos lets his imagination run wild with his new music video. “Bloom” peeks through the dirt to unleash a tumultuous sea of orange petals blowing ever so gently in the breeze, and while he musters up the courage to confess something to his best friend’s sister, who also harbors the same doe-eyed feelings, Taos peeps over his sales paper and quickly determines the time has to be right. “I know you want me, too / Lead me to your room / We know just what to do,” he beckons. Sultry and seducing, Taos pulls the listener along for the rendezvous, as well, and the production hypnotizes you before you even know what hit you.
Taos is ’bout to ride a high wave right to superstardom.
