“It seems to me like my relationships are simply destined to fall apart,” pop newcomer Alex O’aiza fully admits to the wreckage surrounding his romantic life. That’s admirable, and even more, he analyzes why with his new song “Hazy.” He harvests sticky, sweaty, sinewy beats with an aching vocal, swimming between genres and emotions and soon uncovering that the state of things feels immovable. “I want to make it alright,” he harps. “Maybe it’s just my pride or the past times we’ve tried,” he continues, wrestling with endless possibilities.
