In true sadboi fashion, indie pop band Bad Love wind through a torrential synth downpour as they grapple with anxiety wrought through 2020’s absolute dreadfulness. “Cashmere Tears” situates itself in wistful musing over what could have been a blossoming romance, and instead, they wander through rotten rose stems and desires that turn as sour. “If I were you, I wouldn’t be with him,” frontman Andy Gannon advises. While wrangling his existentialism, he nosedives into sparkling hues and a vibe so smooth, he can at least escape for just a minute.
