We all have that one love that got away. It slipped right throug our fingertips. And it’ll haunt us until the day we die. Electro-pop singer-songwriter Bo Baskoro embraces that overwhelming regret, tossing and turning until the waning midnight hours, and he never seems to escape it. “Love You Now” erupts as all glitter-drenched pop music does, as he escapes onto the dance floor and into a flurry of neons to find an alternate reality, in which he approached love all differently. “I lay wrapped in our memories,” he sings. Pummeling production and synths wash like the sea around his feet, and his gaze turns even more sour and forlorn. All he can do now is wallow in what could have been. There’s no turning back. In the accompanying visual, directed by Maxwell Monty, he succumbs to visions of the past, further trapping him in a relentless emotional loop.
