We all lose our minds in the static. Black Mirror is not some distant 1984 nightmarish hellscape; it’s our present. It’s the way we hide behind walls and block our hearts from ever really feeling much of anything. Internet-pop titan chloe mk transports her every raw emotion through the television flicker, the screen distorted and doused in a sapphire hue. “What am I supposed to do? I’m losing my mind…” she calls out into the abyss. But those who could rescue her from uncertain doom are too buried in clicks and RTs. “David Bowie” is not a love song; it’s a sorrowful confessional about the detachment and coldness permeating every facet of our lives. We’re all drowning with no hope of survival. “It’s just not fair,” she screams.
