There’s no telling what a new encounter will do to your life. As we trek through forested trees and barren, deserted landscapes, we collect people and experiences. Some will prove to be monumental to our growth and our future. With his debut single, called “Dopamine,” London newcomer Dan Priddy straddles the line of genre, melting plastic pop with gooey hip-hop, and highlights the flushed cheeks, the rosy lips and the dizzying high to the brain. “I hope in time you’re going to be my love / ‘Cause when you’re mine, there will be nothing close to us,” he unlocks his heart, a full swoop of adoration seeping from inside and flooding the outside. Priddy clears for liftoff, and the spacey finger snaps fuel his body to catapult out of this atmosphere and crash into the next. His star is now in orbit. Let’s go!
