It’s the emotional core of her long, long, long-awaited debut full-length, Open Book, and like its simple, yet poignant, moniker, she peels back the layers of her life in stunning layers and images. She’s unapologetic, and sure, the parallels to Taylor Swift are undeniable, but she makes damn sure to leave her own impression on your heart.

Paul Farran, known professionally as The Camino Side Project, winds through overgrown pathways of folk-rock greenery and smooth hip-hop pebbles. With “N.A.,” his hushed whispers chill upon a stream of acoustic guitar and spectral-leaning harmony work. It’ll soothing you into a restful state, yet you can’t help but be spooked by it all, too. Farran is a hidden treasure right now, but he won’t be for too much longer.
