Freshly Squeezed, Vol. 121: Josh Gray, Loser Company, Madison Malone & more
Enjoy new songs from Ava Max, LX Mason, Magdalena Bay, Weslee, The March Divide, Loser Company and more!
Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.
What can we say, we can’t say no to Josh Gray. His new song “Can’t Say No” crashes on the senses – acoustics and synths twisting together into a swooning mix. “I wish I could walk away, but I can’t / You’ll just pull me back in every time,” he sings. His whispers hook you and drag you into a cooly-sensual smolder, fluttering and silky layers coming to meet his siren-like gaze. “I can never get enough,” he later confides.
Indie-rock outfit Loser Company delight in a psychedelic wonderland. “Blueberry Skies” ignites their new EP, of the same name, with a gentle teeter-totter groove. It slinks; it slithers; it smolders as a candle’s soft flame. “Sun in your eyes,” frontman Will Saunders sculpts. The imagery is lush, coated in a gravel-baked snap. And it’s so intoxicating you might be in for one helluva hallucinatory trip.
The new playlist – the last non-Christmas edition of 2019 – features Madison Malone, LX Mason, Cathedral Bells, Brian Fallon, Jonathan Wilson, Magdalena Bay, The March Divide, Weslee, Alec Benjamin and many more!
In all, we’ve got 30 new tracks to power your weekend ahead. Get to listening!
Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday morning/afternoon. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
