Freshly Squeezed, Vol. 35: Sheare, Bea Miller, DYLYN & more
Enjoy new songs from Ashley Monroe, Big Little Lions, Robinson, Daniel Pearson, Kyle Park and more!
Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.
It is not humanly possible to listen to every new release. Each week, there is just a crazy amount of new music, literally hundreds of new records. So, that’s where these shameless plugs come in. We here at B-Sides & Badlands pride ourselves on music-discovery, giving you some great new indie music to check out. But even we struggle some days. Anyway, this week’s relatively well-dressed new Freshly Squeezed playlist is ripe for the picking. New York’s Sheare shares his glossy and weepy sophomore EP, while Bea Miller drops her long-awaited second album. DYLYN peels her skin with Sauvignon and a Kimono, and UK alt-pop group Pale Waves make major, um, waves with their debut EP.
Big Little Lions, a favorite ’round these parts, continue delivering excellency. This time, they offer a protest record of vulnerability and thick-skinned determination. There’s no slowing them down, really. We’ve also included such pop slayers as Sarah Blasko, Vance Joy, Timeflies, Kayls, Pentatonix, Superorganism and others.
If that’s not really your speed, there’s some killer country-drenched tunes, too. We’ve got Ashley Monroe, Kacey Musgraves, Daniel Pearson, Kyle Park, Jeff Hyde and Grant-Lee Phillips, among others, rounding out our playlist.
Below, we’ve got 56 ridiculously bangin’ bops and ballads to enjoy.
Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday morning. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
