Freshly Squeezed, Vol. 52: DAANI, UNBLOOM, Lost in Los Angeles & more
Enjoy new songs from Panic! at the Disco, Lucia Silvas, SUMif, Say Hi, Wet, Holy Pinto, JHart and more!
Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.
We don’t deserve the excellence of DAANI, a progressive pop creator out of Nashville. She’s undeniably siren-like, and her string of impressive singles the past few years prove it. Her new single will pummel your eardrums “All of a Sudden,” dum dum tiss. Wordplay and hyperbole aside, the crafty singer-songwriter is making gigantic waves everywhere she manages to move, delicately fusing subtle flakes of R&B with her tribal chanting, decorated and slathered with alternative vibes. She leads the pack this week, and rightfully so.
Americana darling Amanda Shires rattles ‘n rolls with her new song “Eve’s Daughter,” a scratchy rock-painted mid-tempo about a young woman trying on a relationship for size. FRENSHIP guitarist Dan Sadin steps out with his impressive solo debut EP (spin our exclusive premiere), containing sterling cut “Edge of the Dark.” Then, the always-glorious UNBLOOM injects our proverbial arms with some necessary adrenaline in the form of his new song “I Followed,” hinging on pounding percussion and his smooth swagger. New blog favorite Jonathan Something follows his “Outlandish Poetica” debut with a new equally-engaging entry called “Fine,” and then SUMif issues the latest in a long chain of releases, titled simply “Body.”
The newest manifestation of Freshly Squeezed also includes new songs from Lucie Silvas, Panic! at the Disco, Lauren Davidson, Amy Shark, Another Sky, PRETTYMUCH, Leann Rimes, Lost in Los Angeles, Anna Shoemaker, Andrew Foy, STACEY, Shiragirl, Dawes, Rotana, Years & Years, Holy Pinto, Daya, GIVERS, Florence + the Machine, Emma Blackery, Say Hi, Elley Duhé, We the Kings, Wet, Tom Walker, JHart and St. Lucia, among countless others.
In all, we’ve got 52 new songs into which to cannonball on this muggy Friday.
Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday morning/afternoon. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
