Taste Test: Jayden connects with Jake Reese for ‘With You’
The panda-pop producer remembers one last summer romance on a new song.

As the summer heat reaches its apex this August, casting a sharp humidity through the early morning light, there’s a sweetness hanging in the air, too. Maybe it’s the thrill of one last romantic rendezvous and the promise of the unexpected that glows as pebbles on the shoreline. Pop producer Jayden bends his production in a similar fashion, hooking the listener into a tropical getaway that’s as intoxicating as it is intimately worn. Featuring vocals from Jake Reese, Jayden’s “With You” hits at an emotionally-charged core while also lighting up the disco-doused club floor with a sparkling fizz. “Until I’m by your side, there’s nothing more I like / Than when I’m hanging with you,” Reese tosses his vocals up in the air as so much confetti, raining back down on sweltering, emerald-capped production. Thankfully, summer’ll last just a minute longer this year.
“With You” follows Jayden’s previous single, “This Time,” from earlier this year.
