Rediscovering the simple joys of life is tough. Being human is tough. Staying ground is tough. And it’s far too easy to lose grip on beauty and spiral out into the darkness. Out of Napa, California, folk-pop musician John Brazell casts a magnetizing charm with his new song. “Peaches” is a walk on sandy beaches, salt misting the air; it’s the nuzzle of a Cocker Spaniel in the morning; it’s the taste of sweet cream dripping over peaches. “With your heart wide open, feel the wind from the ocean,” he invites. “I love simple facts / Giving love, you get a little bit back.” His sunny disposition is contagious, spreading through not only his vocal inflection, but the way he marries folk, pop, and acoustic guitar music. Tremendous!
