Futuristic pop duo Limón Limón have a way of painting lush, totally immersive soundscapes. “Barcelona Night” wafts off the ocean and tumbles across the coastline, wrapping sea air with various aromas of local vendors. Waves crash in the background, glistening and enrapturing textures to further sweep you away into a tropical fantasy. “It’s been way too long, city by the sea / Haunted like cathedrals, shadows in the breeze,” singer Jason’s voice surrounds you and refuses to let you go. Alongside band mate Rand, the pair imagine a retro-blasted time trip, mining nostalgia, bittersweet memories, and the tang of midnight romance for a song surely to set your summer on fire.
