The Singles Bar: LIZ zaps us back to the ’90s with ‘L in Lover’
LIZ absolutely glows.
LIZ transports us back to the ’90s when artists like Mandy Moore, Spice Girls, and S Club were popping off on the radio and TRL. “L in Lover” is perfectly posh in every way. LIZ enlists NSYNC’s JC Chasez (!!!) and acclaimed songwriter/producer Jimmy Harry, who pulled the song from his demo archives, to reimagine it in her image. Production twinkles like so many bubbles in a fresh glass of champagne, and LIZ stands, glowing and transcendent, on the dance floor. Millennials, you’ll be getting hella nostalgic from this.
“L in Lover” samples LIZ’s new album, Prototype, coming this summer.
