When you feel that tug to go, you just go. It can be hard to move on, whether to a new city or opening another kind of life chapter, but if you take that leap, endless possibilities abound. Folk singer-songwriter Luna Keller depicts her own journey on a song called “Prophecy,” written two years ago. But it’s transcendence pierces to her life in this very moment. “My body’s a cocoon / My soul will turn into a butterfly / And you will see me die to be reborn,” she sculpts her story with sharp imagery. As such, Keller punches hard to the core of this life’s constantly transitory state, as she herself relocates to a brand new city.
“Prophecy” samples her forthcoming album, Prophecies and Silver Linings.
