The electro-pop artist draws parallels of anxiety to a bad relationship.

In concrete terms, having anxiety is like being trapped in a toxic relationship. You fall back into bad habits because those good moments, as fleeting as they are, suck you back in. Electro-pop artist margø envisions her own anxiety as a bad romance with sticky synth beads flickering into the wind. “someone else” is glitchy and hypnotic, and her voice slides and writhes in the mix, sometimes nearly as sticky and caked in darkness. “Taking all my energy, like you’re bad for my health,” she cries. “I don’t wanna waste away by being someone else…”
