Paper Towns ⏤ of musicians Jaimi Faulkner and Jan Schroeder ⏤ have a way of sculpting intensely poetic, ambient, and cathartic music. “Let You Go” is the lastest notch in their growing songbook, and written in the early days of the pandemic, it falls across the eardrums like rain droplets, soothing and refreshing. “You’ve never looked so far away,” sings Faulkner. They naturally address current world matters, and do it in a way that’s compassionate, warm, and drenched in empathy. Faulkner’s voice is enough to envelope you like honey.
