With heartbreak, there comes devastation. And we all deserve to take how much time we need to heal. Eventually, though, there will come a day we need to rebuild. Feeling the brunt of a particularly difficult breakup, singer-songwriter Ryk decided enough was enough and funnels the former relationship’s beautiful memories into a song. “All He Wants” bursts with an intoxicating radiance, clearly emanating from Ryk’s honeyed vocal, and all the misery seems to melt like butter in a hot summer sun. “And now I’m flying so high / I just can’t deny / No words can describe it / Now that I’m found,” Ryk sings, swirling amidst groove not unlike doo-wop music. It’s a caramel vibe that’ll have you addicted.
