A sun-bleached west coast duo, The Habits whip up the mood of the summer. “After Party” glistens like a glow-stick you’ve just popped in half, emanating a bright, thick neon green ambiance. The accompanying visual bathes in ’90s signatures, from their throwback windbreakers to their Baja bucket hat, and it’s so immersive you’ll instantly get swept up in the nostalgia of it all. “I won’t let the old me get me / I won’t let the old me in,” vows vocalist Wolf Bradley. “This is the end of being left behind.” Guitars and synths swirl into a cosmic blend, and the duo’s determination to cut out toxic habits is downright infectious.
