There’s a free-flowing spirit embedded within the Nadas‘ “Come Along for the Ride.” It’s an easy-going rollick down the highway, a breeze in your hair, and nothing but miles and miles stretching out before you. Your companion rides beside you, and you take it all in. It’s one of those experiences that makes life worth living. “I can drive, if you’re riding shotgun / Baby, climb on board / Play it through the aux, cause I got one / Turn it up a little more,” sings Jason Walsmith. His voice is honeyed, as though filtered through a honeycomb. It’s smooth, sticky, and sweet to the touch. “Come Along for the Ride” is ripe for rolling down the windows and forgetting all your worries.
