The indie-rock band depict mental delusion as a horror movie stalker.
Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstones
You look in the mirror, and all you see is a web of paranoia dazzling in intricate configurations around your head. Indie rock outfit The Wilderness ⏤ of Jonas Lewis-Anthony, Liam Neale, and four other unnamed musicians⏤ gorges on their own inescapable paranoia, clawing through thick fog of electric guitar and production static. “I found worth to build a life / Pouring pints of entertainment till they pass out on the pavement outside,” heaves Neale. The visual, directed and shot be Celine Klein, fully immerses into mental delusions, barreling through like a horror movie featuring an unknown stalker whose dark form relentlessly hunts Neale down. Will he live through the night?
“Graveyard” rips from the band’s new album Until Tomorrow, out everywhere now.
