Taste Test: Tilsen has no ‘Doubt’ whatsoever
The pop newcomer impresses with her summery new bop.

The ache for love pulses through the human form. Sometimes, we let it fill our lungs and send our skeleton glowing into the night ⏤ the surge is so potent it swells being a taboo compulsion to an instinctually, perhaps overpowering, core drive. Bass booming, running hot to the touch, Tilsen‘s new buoyant and sparkling mid-summer getaway is ripe for the picking. “Doubt,” complete with synth-y static and vocoder, witnesses the Toronto novice toss her proverbial hat into the ring for an 11th hour song of the summer. “I promise that you’ll never ever have to doubt my love,” she flips her tongue and her hair into circular motion. Lite-house blends with oozing sugar-pop for a tropical elixir that (fingers crossed!) should position Tilsen as pop’s next giant.
