We need sadness in our lives. In darkness, we can better appreciate the light. Indie folk singer-songwriter Wyatt C. Louis spins the listener across the dance floor with a lilting invitation. “Dancing with Sue” glides softly off his lips, the kind of plucky tune to which you can’t help but tap your foot. “I love you right now,” he sings over warm textures. If even for a moment, he beckons you to wrap up those cherished memories even tighter and never let them go. “Get on your feet, bask in the sun / Take off your shoes, and dance with me and Sue,” he calls from across the room. And you can’t help but hop to your feet and scoot across the floor. Louis takes your hand, and you follow.
