We need to celebrate even the tiniest of victories when we get ’em. 2020 has been… something else, so the minor accomplishments need celebrated, loudly and proudly. Indie pop singer-songwriter AJ Smith dishes up a piano-hinged anthem doing just that. “Confetti” is perfectly effervescent with a soaring hook that’ll surely give you the right about of intoxicating buzz. In the accompanying visual, he wanders awkwardly through a dance party, and the camera appropriately follows only feet, as he slowly learns to find his own place in the chaos. “I’m free just to be happy,” he sings.
