Taste Test: Bad Flamingo entrance with their latest cut, ‘Ain’t Too Worried Yet’
The mysterious indie-Americana duo never let up with their latest offering.
Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstone
Bad Flamingo crank with a spitting, sun-scorching heat. Crunchy textures mingle beneath a smokey shell, and the mysterious duo trudge along a particularly dusty trail of their own creation. Their newest entry called “Ain’t Too Worried Yet” is a snaky charmer, a devilish odor rising and falling in time. “I thought I could, I thought I could / Getting older and dumber like they said I would / I ain’t too worried yet,” their voices lap like leather-bound whips, frayed edges flapping with each thunderous crack. The groove is so slick, so sinister, so contagious, you soon find yourself totally entranced by the pair’s bizarre aesthetic, unwittingly casting such a spell you won’t soon forget.
