Taste Test: FLØRE imagines split character in murderous ‘Dead Boys’
The hypnotic pop newcomer imagines an alternate reality of revenge.

“I wanted to kill you when I found out what you did to me,” speaks FLØRE in her macabre new pop track. “Dead Boys” frays with a split character, as the musician imagines that perhaps in another life she would have been a killer. “There’s a part in my brain / Where there’s just white noise,” she sings over twitchy guitar. “Maybe you should be scared / Are you scared.” She unleashes every ounce of rage and murderous revenge (we’d all be lying if we’d never been so angry we wished an ex dead) into a song that crackles and trembles with a twisted alternate reality.
