Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.

Alicia Gaines commands the kind of presence most in hard rock music severely lack. She rips the words right from her chest, spitting them out onto the trashing of electric guitars, and lets her body spin and spin and spin in the limelight. “Bad Form” is no exception; there’s a visceral energy embedded in the melody, her voice lingering on the syllables with a sensual, yet detached, air. “Now, I just look at the sun,” the Ganser leader speak-sings, twisting her bones to meet up what could be surmised as fate. The weight is heavy, but she soon sheds that burden to morph into fang-toothed beast that seeks to consume us all. We should let her.

Sara Rachele is hypnotic. Left to her own devices, her smokey alto calls to you across a fog-laden creek bed. It’s icy and languid, but there’s something so unearthly about it that you can’t help but get lost in the musical high. “Let Me Make It Up to You (You’re Such a Sweet Thing)” digs its talons into the surface of mankind, peeling it like an onion that has long soured. But her performance is more than ripe; in fact, it’s a doozy that’ll make your head soar into the clouds. Even her cooing “ooo”s have meat to their bones, enough that you’ll never be hungry again.

The grand 104th edition includes other new entries from Girl Wilde, Danny Godwin, Kelly Hoppenjans, Jake Miller, Lisa Bell, City Silos, Dori Freeman, The Highwomen, Suzie Brown, Andy Grammer, County Line Runner, Sarah Darling and many others!

In all, we’ve got 30 new tracks to power up on. Get to listening!

Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday morning/afternoon. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
