Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.

Fuck, you guys. We’re finally getting Promising Young Woman, starring the elegant Carey Mulligan, on Christmas. Now, we have the delicious soundtrack, as well. Carmen DeLeon gives the performance of her life with a classic pop turn on “He Hit Me (And It Felt Like a Kiss),” originally recorded by The Crystals in 1962. DeLeon’s voice is striking and just… magnificent.

Speaking of covers, soul/pop singer Kara Frazier turns up the heat on Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart.” She adheres to the originals sultry structure while beefing it up with her signature vocal dips and moves. When production soars, electric guitars rumbling in unison, she does, too ⏤ fitting her voice among the stars.

The playlist also includes Illicit Ghost, Mathew V, Beach Bunny, Fletcher, Joe Piotrowski, Cory Stewart, Bad Flamingo, Lemon & Rye, Teddi Gold, and many more!

In all, we’ve got 30 new tracks to soothe your mind during these terrible pandemic times. Insert heart emoji.

Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday or Saturday. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
