Humbird paints with sharp clarity. Her images float over the eardrums, shaking you to the core. “There is an old barn on a ghost farm / Hollowed out and filled with stars,” she sings, ripping pages as though from a long-forgotten journal. “The sky fell through the busted roof / A hole so wide, the moon came too.” Guitars rumble and quake, piercing through the static.
