Sometimes, a musician’s voice makes you stop everything and listen. She may be young, but 18 year old Hunter Moreau captures your attention the moment the words leave her mouth. Produced by Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers) and co-written with Cara Salimando (Dua Lipa), “Hazy” paints an emotive picture that encourages us to tap into our imagination. “Take me up to your rooftop/Sway me like two strangers in a kiss” she sings, her tone evoking an ethereal aura. The song itself is a mix of psychedelic synth and a soft electro-pop beat, putting Moreau’s poetic lyrics front and center. With a fantastic new single like this, Hunter Moreau will definitely be one to watch!
