Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstones

There’s nothing more terrifying than when you place your heart firmly and fearlessly in someone else’s hands. You ooze vulnerability, and you’re far beyond hope at this point that it’ll all work out for the best. Sweden’s hidden weapon KEV jumps feet-first into a magnetizing whirlpool of young, vehemently reckless love with “What Lovers Do,” a juicy and addicting shot of club-pop. “Fall in love everyday, yeah, when I wake up next to you,” he softly caresses the melody as his body skitters about around the dance floor. Moments later, a rainbow shower of confetti and glitter pour down, and you can’t help but get lost in the mist, too, and throw caution to the wind. “Let it make us feel alive,” he later promises a rebirth, you could say. And so he coerces us to dance, dance, dance into the rose-tinted morning hours, the sun barely cresting the horizon. And we’re so down.
