Guitars melt the skin off your bones, and Kit Major‘s voice pokes through like a silver needle puncturing sequined fabric. “I’m a scene queen, gonna be seen / Gonna be queen of this fucking town,” she snatches all the wigs with the chorus. “Scene Queen” jolts from slickly sticky pop to metal banger, so much so, you might get whiplash. “When the sun goes down, the bitch comes out,” she later spits on the second verse. Major is a ferocious one, baring her fangs, and letting you squirm in your seat.
