LIBERATI‘s debut is gummy and sticky-sweet. A solo effort forged by bassist Dom Liberati (Tauren Wells, BEL HAVEN), the Grammy-nominated musician toys with gender roles with his first single. “Say It,” featuring Destiny Petrel (Lauren Jauregui, Grace Vanderwaal) on guitar, thumbs between a man’s traditionally assertive nature and the woman standing strong in her own lustful wants a desires, an effervescent smolder grooving and grinding beneath the production layers. “Been thinking about all the little ways / You want me to / To love you,” Liberati entices.
