Taste Test: Liimo muse on summer breakups with new song, ‘Miracle’
The synth three-piece still feel the sting of summer heartbreak.

Summer is officially over next week. Now is the perfect time to take stock of that one summer, totally-in-quarantine breakup. Electro-pop trio Liimo stretch out that sweet love’s tang with the dazzling “Miracle,” a deceptively hypnotic synth track just drenched in the swollen aftermath. “How is it we got so close?” they plead. Production swirls around them, an intoxicating electronic cloud that is so enveloping they get lost in the raw emotion of it, discarding any logical thought. “I’m still here, half-way to a miracle.” Always ones to wearing their hearts on their sleeve, the three-piece invite you to dance away the ache until there’s nothing left of any of it at all.
