There is always that moment when you have to finally confront the past. Often, that includes addressing where you came from and its deep emotional baggage. Indie pop duo Limón Limón do so with their latest, slow-smoldering track “Northern California.” Sticky guitar sets the scene, a groove, a mood, and their voices flow forth with pain they’d long buried. “It was nice to know ya,” they sing with a shrug. They return one last time, finally severing all the pain, and now, they can finally breathe.
