How is this Louis Jarto‘s debut single?!? “Good to You” soars alongside accomplished producers like Calvin Harris and Zedd, zipping between out-of-this-world synths that are so energizing every single part of your body will grind to the beat. Out of Copenhagen, the newcomer hits on all cylinders, from his sizzling power-pop vocal to each cosmic choice in the foundation, and it pummels the eardrums with sticky, sweaty droplets. “I see your life fading away / This is your only escape / Wish I was good, good to you,” his smoky tenor weighs you down but makes you light as a feather. There’s this very strange dichotomy built into the song; you bop along, but there’s a growing melancholy in the lyrics, which, when you really stop and listen, squeezes your heart dry.
