Life can be an absolutely cluster, and we’re all just trying to do our best. When life hurls you a curveball, it’s easy to lose yourself in the noise. Canadian pop pair Neon Dreams churn their own experiences, and observations of performer Frank Kadillac’s mother, who confronted (and conquered) cancer last year, into an effervescent, finger-snapping jingle called “Turn Back Now.” In the accompanying visual, directed by Kadillac with Alex Gayoso, turns a renewed love of life on high. The images run between beachside and mountain-top meditating to the playfully weird – from bandmate Adrian Morris morphing into a plastic bucket robot to using a rainbow slinky as an ocular lens. “If you’re legs start giving out, I’ll care for you,” Kadillac soothes.

“Turn Back Now” comes on the heels of the duo’s debut LP, 2019’s Sweet Dreams Till Sunbeams.
