The synth-pop mastermind withers from past love, so he just dances it out.

Pawl is quickly making his name known. With an arsenal of airy, effervescent pop tracks, washing over the senses and completely arresting the body, he dishes up one of the summer’s most undeniable. While adhering to his usual synth aesthetics, “Waiting for Your Love” energizes the limbs but unpacks a surprisingly somber lyric. “We were twenty young and dumb / Just care about having fun / This ain’t over and I’m still waiting for your love,” he longs on the pre-hook. His voice slyly creeps along with tremendous weight, drenched head-to-toe in club glitter. You can’t help but dance. “I’m looking for better days / I know we can find a way / But this ain’t over and I’m still waiting for your love,” he vows he’ll never stop. He feels what he feels, and that’s that.
