Taste Test: Wilder Woods shocks the system with ‘Electric Woman’
The soulful singer enlists his wife for a stunning new sunset video.

When you’re in love, you just know it. A tingling sensation vibrates throughout your entire body, from head to toe, and there’s no possible way to get such energy anywhere else. NEEDTOBREATHE’S Bear Rinehart, who has stepped out for a solo adventure as Wilder Woods, celebrates that undeniable sensation with his stimulating new rollick. “Electric Woman,” accompanied with a visual of sunset silhouettes prancing on the edge of the earth, burns long and hard, as his voice slides between ripples of romance and the flush to his cheeks. “Can’t live without you,” he casts a coo into the groovy layers, sometimes lush and glistening with sweat. The video appropriately stars his real-life wife, whose presence gives even more weight to exactly how much he’s tangled in her orbit. “You know, you’re sending those shocks through my body now,” he sings. And with a flip of his caramel tenor, he sends the listener out to trek across their own version of such a rose-kissed galaxy.
“Electric Woman” is the latest sample to his self-titled album, out everywhere August 9.
