Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstones

We’ve all got a way of questioning our existence. Right down to friendships, we grapple with perceptions of the world and, more importantly, of self. Out of London, emotive piano man Michael G. Moore takes his life in his hands and examines every crack and jagged edge of his veneer. With “Demons and Angels,” he slides from one disconnection to the next – synapses fraying, crackling, and glowing into the pain. “One day, I will find a love that feels like mine,” he warbles into an overwhelming sticky blackness. The piano shakes beneath his bones, and as lilting as it should be, the melancholy splinters right across his shoulders.
