Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstones

You can’t escape the hatred on your TV screens or social feeds. Our very existence is dipped in smoking coals of bigotry and the male ego. Raw from her own experiences, pop powerhouse Anna Dellaria carves out the anger throbbing and ripping through her chest for a barn-burning, mountain-tumbling anthem. “Mama Said” is scorched with the signature pop-rock iron-wrought brand, sweeping from shiny hand-claps to the venomous whipping of guitars. The heavens seemingly open up for her, gloriously raining down. “Don’t let them take your crown,” she fills her lungs before tearing the establishment to shreds. Her voice is as fire steaming and billowing from a dragon’s tongue, lapping up the ruin and igniting it all over again. Dellaria plants her feet firmly in place and watches the world light on metaphorical fire. We should join her.
