Zombie films are a dime a dozen these days. You really have to spin a deliciously unique yarn to make some noise. Writer/director Bo Webb lands with a cannonball splash with UN-DEAD, a short out of Panic Fest. It’s a bloody good time, and it features an actor you likely know, Brian Huskey, whose credits include Bob’s Burgers, New Girl, and Step Brothers. UN-DEAD is a hilarious treat, from start to finish.
B-Sides & Badlands recently hopped on a Zoom call with Webb to chat about working with his childhood friend (yes, that’d be Huskey), expanding zombie lore, and more! Webb signed in directly from behind a partition of the Panic Fest screening room (how cool!) and tried not to die from whatever could have potentially come crawling down a creepy staircase!
