Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.

Mathew V is about to blow. your. mind. The pop up and comer issues his long-awaited debut studio set, The Fifth, today (April 6), and you’re not gonna believe how stacked the album is. Top to bottom, the singer carves out such electric intensity, he will is poised to compete with the big dogs; just give him some time. He’s one smash away. “Preacher” is a definite standout, sweaty and sticky with beats and one helluva smooth vocal line.

Caroline Spence then teams up with Robby Hecht with a brittle new ballad, while Sarah Shook has us shook (da-dum-tiss) with her new record, Years. A genre-spanning new Elton John tribute collection is out today, too, featuring vocalists Miranda Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Rosanne Cash, Lee Ann Womack, Maren Morris and a slew of others. Wallows drop their debut EP, containing one of their best stunners in “1980s Horror Film.” The Brummies hook up with Kacey Musgraves on their new record, and Heather Brave, Kirsten Arian and Megan O’Neill all drop new tracks to great effect.

But that’s not all. We’ve also got new Handsome Ghost, Aly Ryan, Moonnheart, Ashley Monroe, Brothers Osborne, The Aces, Dead Horses, Friend Group, October, Sunny Sweeney, Tom Misch, Old Crow Medicine Show, Young Thieves, Birdtalker and Dagny, among a properly-baked feast of other supple tunes (you like these food puns, yeah?). The weather forecast might claim it’ll snow (AGAIN!!!) next week, but it’s summer ’round these parts ⎯⎯ and it’s hot and muggy AF.

In all, we’ve got 52 new songs to spin heading into the weekend.

Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday morning/afternoon. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.

Take a spin:
