Kate Prascher‘s voice floats on an earthy breeze in her new song, “Jubilee.” A horse’s hooves supply the giddy-up, winding through city blocks of red brick and dirt. “It’s a strange train,” she sings with a lilt lacing her lips. She slides over the melodies with a sense of true calm, even though there’s just a smidge of heaviness weighing it down.
