Welcome to Taste Test, a song/video review series of SubmitHub-only gemstone

There are urges we just can’t fight. We’re only human, and we have to let them happen sometimes. Brazen and brass-toothed, Nashville rocker Kelsey Waters allows her carnal lusts to bubble up to the surface with her minty cool “Sweet Tooth,” smoked to perfection with classic guitar thrashing. “Still on my lips / But I want another,” she coos through her teeth, letting the sugar melt from her every word. “I got a sweet tooth / And I can’t fight it,” she sings, discarding any and all inhibitions. Waters’ style sluggishly swerves from Bowie eccentricities to the harder-biting template of Zeppelin, all the while testing the waters with her own bedeviling craft. When all is said and done, Waters leaves quite an imprint wherever her muse leads, and superstardom is the aim. We’re waiting.
