The Singles Bar: Mya Byrne – Almost Gone

In today’s tarot reading, one of the cards promised new beginnings. I suppose it makes sense then that I’m listening to Mya Byrne‘s new song, “Almost Gone.” Byrne scorches the earth beneath her boots, leaving nothing but a throbbing sensation that it all comes down sooner or later. “Feeling like you might fade out and disappear,” she sings over a blanket of static-fuzz and drums. It’s that terrible state of being when you know you need to move on, and it’s long overdue. No more dilly-dallying. Get to it.
