Video Killed the Radio Star: Prinz Grizzley – A Mountain to Be Tamed (The Struggling)

Prinz Grizzley‘s voice can rattle mountains. With his aptly titled new song, “A Mountain to Be Tamed (The Struggling),” he tears through the craggy edges of earth with bulldozer propulsion. “Everywhere I go there’s a mountain to be tamed / There’s a fire to be stolen,” he crows over dark, swirling guitars and strings. “There’s a sinner, there’s a saint / Everywhere I go there’s trouble finding me / There’s a devil waiting, waiting in me.” Inspired by his grandfather, who once lived in the mountains in the 1930s, the song whips up a thunderstorm that rips through the globe.
