The Singles Bar: Subterranean Street Society – Mazda 5

Grief comes back in waves when you least expect it. With their new song “Mazda 5,” Subterranean Street Society reflect on the passing of a late friend. A band mate found their friend’s traveling guitar with their name inscribed on it, exactly one year after their death. It rattled them, but they poured every ounce of emotion into the jangly new tune. Harmonica comes blasting through the speakers like a locomotive’s horn, as it barrels down the tracks headed straight for a dark, relentless tunnel.
